Astral Pipes specialises in manufacturing the best quality plumbing & drainage systems for both residential and commercial applications, CPVC piping systems for industrial applications, column and pressure piping system for agriculture applications and also conduit pipes for residential and commercial applications.
To begin with, how has been the business in the recent times?
Last two years were pretty fair. This year there is a slide due to economic conditions which continue to persist.
Brief us about the drainage system manufactured by Astral?
ASTRAL ULTRADRAIN is uPVC conventional drainage system for soil, waste and rain water. This system enables fast and efficient removal of waste without blockage and leakage. Its high impact strength, chemical and corrosion resistance. Long life and virtually zero maintenance ® have made ASTRAL ULTRADRAIN system a preferred drainage and rain water system among architects, builders and plumbing contractors.
ASTRAL ULTRADRAIN ISI marked pipes are available in both ringfit & selfit pipes with two ® different class of pipes named as “TYPE A” & “TYPE B”. TYPE A pipes are recommended for use in ventilation and rain water application while TYPE B pipes are recommended for soil and waste discharge applications. Pipes are available in all sizes and in different lengths with single socket and double socket.
Are there any special pipes which are different for hot and cold water?
We have CPVC bendable multi-layer pipes for hot and cold water with better impact strength, PVC is only for Cold water and in drainage also, we are having different types of pipes. We also have silent pipes i.e. when someone flushes there is no sound of water as such.
What are your short term objectives, for say, the next two years?
We want to bring the new innovative products which are there worldwide to provide the market with a better solution.
As per your assessment, how are the upcoming years going to be?
That depends everything upon how the policies fair well. It all depends on the local election of the Corporations. Post that we can some assessment as to how the next year will last.
What about the presence? How far is your presence in India? Where are Astral Pipes plants located?
We are having pan India presence, our channel partners are all across India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Astral Pipes delivers consistent quality effortlessly with its robust facilities present in Ahmedabad and Dholka (Gujarat), and Hosur (Tamil Nadu) to manufacture plumbing systems and drainage systems.
