Tell us something about the new technologies and ideas that you have showcased this time at EXCON 2017?

This time, in addition to our existing products, we have added one 4 ton Loader which is going to be launched here at EXCON 2017. Primarily, we have addressed the 3 Ton market which is already existing. We have a loader up to 3 Ton and our USP is mainly hi-tech and low RPM. We are focused on providing greater fuel efficiency and higher productivity. These are the key technologies behind our products. Currently, we have two offerings in the loaders section.

What growth are you anticipating post EXCON 2017 event?

We are at a growth of 20 percent and we are anticipating the same for post EXCON 2017.

Tell us something about the global construction equipment industry market trends and the way you will reach your competency or retain it in the future?

Globally, this brand is growing between the range of number 1 and number 2 positions. SDLG, as you are aware, has almost all the construction products for the construction equipment industry. In India, we are complementing rather than competing with Volvo. We have products like small size loaders and big size ones in Volvo. Similarly, we are the only one offering Graders with 12 ton and 16 ton models and getting good Grader sales and growth.

Is there anything you would like to add about your participation here at EXCON and about your future business prospects?

Point number one is that EXCON is the best platform to showcase new product launches. It is coming in the right time when-in a trend in the road industry is shifting to a bigger capacity, whether it is a Crusher or RMC Plant. Here, we find that shift where products meet requirement. Our current products launched here are apt for the road segment. We have other segments like ports but as the business in ports is not as it was earlier. So we are primarily focusing on our growth in the road segment. I feel this is the best location in the South and the right time for this exhibition to be organized. It is one of the largest exhibitions where we generally have a very good enquiry base.
