Share with us your views on the roadmap or the outline, which followed in the recent year of 2018-2019 period, for the infrastructure and construction sector.

In 2018, India ranked 44th out of 167 countries in World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI) 2018 (Survey by PropTiger). Infrastructure is a key to drive the economy and India as a developing country has been propelling highly in construction and infrastructure sector. India’s national highway network is expected to cover 50,000 kilometers by 2019. National highway construction in India has increased by 20 per cent year-on-year in 2017-18.

Tell us about your recent recognized projects (e.g your core execution strength and expertise in providing best solutions) / views on the current promising trends of the Industry.

We are currently working on various projects in Mumbai, Nashik and Pune. Right from affordable homes to luxury projects namely EKTA Parksville, EKTA Tripolis, EKTA Invictus, Lake Rivera, etc. As a brand, EKTA World has taken a lead and progressed towards the growing trend of green buildings, in a day and age where we all strive to preserve for generation next. EKTA Tripolis is designed and executed to be a Green building. We make sure that our construction is pro-environment and the lifestyle is blessed with natural surroundings, such as maze garden, meditation & yoga area, garden walkway and more.

Share with us your promising management ideas and driving strategies which you are using in your projects?

We are devoted to transforming local landscapes with global lifestyles: making living experiences refreshing and authentic while creating a positive impact on the society we live in. EKTA World, one of the premier real estate companies in Mumbai, balancing simplicity and opulence across all its spaces by creating an environment that appeals to the senses, imagination and lifestyle of our customers across diverse segments.

How would you predict the year 2019, along with sharing your business plans for the next 5 years, as the new government is just going to be elected, in order to adapt to the latest policies and norms and remaining competitive in the industry?

In 2019, millennials will purchase more homes as they are well focused and have plans like their parents. Accordingly, banks started lending to the real sector more aggressively, more copiously. With better policies like reduction in GST, Budget influence, repo rate, sales will increase more as we are witnessing increment in the demand. When compared to 2017, unit completion rate increased 55 per cent in 2018, and it would now take a probable 29 months to sell the accessible inventory stock lying with real estate developers in nine key markets.

Is there is something you would like to share with your audience at large, as in discussing your trade principals and economic ambitions for the near future?

As a premier realty company, we have chosen to focus on residential developments in MMR across genres i.e. affordable, premium category, luxury and uber luxury homes. In the last few years we have successfully done over 1 MN Sq. ft. on an annual basis, and in the coming years we want to double this figure. We are actively pursuing acquisitions in the most sought-after locations in Mumbai like Mahim, Bandra, Khar, Chembur, Oshiwara, Virar etc. All these upcoming projects will pan across genres of residential developments that will fuel accelerated growth. And on the personal front, health has been on the top of my agenda. I want to devote some of my time for spiritual and physical healing.

Comment on your ‘Basic profile’.

Vivek Mohanani, after pursuing his education, started his career in 2001 with EKTA housing Pvt. Ltd and is currently the Managing Director & CEO.

From a humble beginning with a task force project in Kandivali, Vivek has gone on to venture in unchartered territories like Pune and Nashik within half a decade of joining the business. He articulates “I want to give the best experience possible.” And he has been instrumental in the growth of the organization; he has gone beyond the conventional and given structures that     personify finesse.

Vivek has been the driving force behind the metamorphosis the organization has had in the last decade and half. Now christened, EKTA world, the endeavor continues is, to give the city structures that one can be proud of. Each of their projects are landmarks in their own right and are a memorable part of the city skyline, the group has not just built remarkable structures but has also built a reputation that is as solid.
