We, at Solitaire, have recently launched a one-of-its-kind projects, Maha Trade Market (MTM) at Bibvewadi, Pune. MTM is a future-ready wholesale market which is envisioned to be the Largest Wholesale and Trade Market that Maharashtra has ever witnessed. MTM is strategically located in Bibvewadi which is the trading hub of the city.

MTM is the answer that unanimously emerged after a survey that was conducted with 9752 traders to understand the challenges faced by them in the current market scenario. With respect to the wide variety of problems faced by the traders that range from parking space, hygiene, safety, security to warehousing, MTM is specially designed keeping in mind the needs of these businesses. With the mission to provide the enterprising traders of Pune an opportunity and infrastructure to have 100% focus on growing their business for the future, MTM has been imagined as a futuristic business destination just 500m away from Market Yard.

This project, soft launched in February 2020, was previously called Codename Bazaar. The booking of 750+ shops in Codename Bazaar in 3 days had made waves across the city. Tell us about your opinion on the upcoming mega-projects in our country that has the potential to drive our economic growth.

The gradual opening of the economy and the government’s focus towards opinion based policy is likely to boost industries across sectors. The recent Global Construction report 2030 also suggests that India is bound to become the third largest construction market behind USA and China by 2021. The recent announcement in regards to our Hon’ble Prime Minister laying the foundation stone of two mega projects in Gujarat namely, a mega renewable energy park and a desalination plant, is a validation of the same. The hybrid renewable energy park, having both solar panels as well as windmills, would be world’s biggest with power generation capacity of 30,000 megawatts. Some of the mega projects that will lead to a massive boost in the nation’s economic growth are Delhi Mumbai Trade Corridor, Gujarat International Finance Tech City and Diamond Quadrilateral Project.

What do you think about the luxury real estate projects in India? Do you feel that we are levelling up with world-class luxury projects?

The luxury real estate market has seen a significant growth in the Indian market in the past few years. This growth can be attributed to a surge in the number of high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) in the country. India, according to Knight Frank, ranks 12th and had 5,986 HNIs in 2019, which is likely to reach 10,354 by 2024. Amongst asset classes, Indian UHNWIs are most aggressive in equity investment with 72% willing to invest in this asset class compared to a global average of 29%. These figures give us a clear indication that there will be a definite rise in the luxury housing segment in the country.

Lastly, is there any message you would like to give to your audience at large, in terms of achievements in one’s field and contributing to our country’s growth?

Contrary to the performance of the real estate industry in general, the past twelve months have been excellent for Solitaire and our sales have increased by 400%. We, at Solitaire, take immense pride in sharing that during the lockdown we have released the payments of over 57 channel partners without even receiving the final invoice from them. This was done keeping the humane need of the hour in mind. Solitaire truly believes in transforming the real estate sector and contributing towards the growth of the country at large. With the launch of Maha Trade Market, we remain committed towards creating a significant impact on the lives of traders and our customers. We are at a very interesting juncture with elaborate plans to launch multiple projects in the residential, commercial, mixed-use development, and the retail space
