Eagle-Eye-Telematics technology for enhancing the performance and efficiency of the machine

What are your thoughts and views about the upcoming road construction projects in our country? How are these projects going to open new ways for the overall infrastructure development?

The year 2020 was a tough year for all the sectors and economies. However, announcements post mid-year helped the sector in getting back its momentum. For 2021, the Government of India has proclaimed multitude of announcements and new projects in the budget. The government has added around 7,400 new projects which will ensure a better year for the infrastructure sector as well as for the construction equipment industry. More highway projects have been awarded in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal and Assam and all these will give a much-needed boost to the sector. Further, an announcement of introduction of the Development Finance Institution providing ₹20,000 crore have been made to launch the National Asset Monetization Pipeline and fund new infra projects. Hence, the prospects of this year are positive for the CE sector.

We at CASE are confident that all these efforts will play an important role in reviving the sector and bringing back the economy to normalcy.

What recent technological upgradations have you used in your road construction equipment?

A.CASE has always been a technology-first brand. Globally, we have introduced a lot of product concepts that are loaded with advanced technological features like Project TETRA and our Autonomous tractor concept which is completely driverless, remotely controlled equipment which can increase a working day to a full 24 hours thereby increasing productivity. In India, all our products come equipped with our renowned Eagle-Eye-Telematics technology for enhancing the performance and efficiency of the machine. It helps in keeping a track of the machine with the help of a unique feature called ‘Geo-fencing’. An exclusive SMS alert feature helps the user control the safety of the machine and self-detects the imminent need for a repair, to reduce the halt or threat caused by an unfit machine. Additionally, we recently launched a Site-watch technology platform that helps gives an all-new dashboard, more intuitive navigation and new overview sections that spotlight critical information without requiring the user to search extensively for the data. It also gives an easy dropdown menu, makes critical reports on factors such as equipment utilisation, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
