A LANDMARK CONCEPT TO UPGRADE THE PARAMETER OF CONSTRUCTION
Share with us your analytical views on the industry market, estimating the relative growth and demand potentials.
PEB concept entered India in the year 2000 and thereafter could get acceptability among Architects, Consultants and Customers from 2004 onwards in a big way. Currently the market size is around Rs.4000 crores and it is expected to grow at around 7% to 8% every year in the coming 5 years. Apart from ware housing and industrial buildings, PEB concept is getting wide acceptability in High-Rise commercial buildings, retail outlets, distribution centers and large span hangers in recent times. With the increase in E-Commerce business, demand for ware housing has considerably increased from companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Walmart etc. Many corporates have started building logistic parks after introduction of GST.
Tell us about your recent recognized and on-going mega product innovations with the driving ideas to design them with their special features / views on the current promising trends of the Industry.
We have executed large clear span buildings for Ultratech all over India ranging from 65 meters clear span to 99 meters. We built Kannur International airport steel structures which are highly complex. We are executing High-rise commercial buildings up to 22 floors. We executed 7.50 lakhs square feet building for Shahi Exports ( garments manufacturing company in Shimoga) and we have built 4.00 lakhs square feet building for fulfillment center for Amazon thru GMR at Shamshabad International airport, Hyderabad.
What is your business plan, in terms of expansion and development, for the progressive year-2018?
Our plan is to reach revenue of around Rs.750 crores in this FY and Rs.1000 Crores in coming 2 years’ time. Apart from PEB’s, we are executing projects involving structural steel, telecom towers, Solar MMS and Engineering Services for US companies.
Is there is something you would like to share with your audience at large, as in discussing your trade principals and motives?
Steel prices are steeply increasing and hence some of the developers are finding the budgets not workable. General manufacturing (except automobile) is not having proper growth in recent years. Both domestic consumption and exports have to increase and then only the demand for PEB’s will increase. Also, thermal steel plants projects are not taking place in view of solar projects and this is another challenge to growth. Per capita consumption of steel in India in now at around 60 kgs whereas it is around 250 kgs in developed countries. Government (Center and States) should start using more PEB’s in their projects to save cost and time. We have excellent engineering and execution teams, and executed highly complex projects, and won around 16 awards from reputed institutes in the past 8 years.
