Ambuja Cement Ltd., one of the leading cement manufacturers, concluded its immensely popular national truck driving event ‘Ambuja Safe Driving Championship 2017’ at its Bhatapara plant in Chhattisgarh. The event received an overwhelming response as 800 entries were received from Ambuja’s 16 plants across the country; 20 contestants made it to the grand finale which was held recently and the drivers, who displayed exceptional skills while demonstrating highest standards of road safety performance, were rewarded. With a strong commitment to ‘Zero Harm’ ambition, Ambuja Cement is the only Indian company in the industry that has been organising a national championship with an aim to recognise its best drivers, considered to be integral in key logistics operations.
