Ambuja wins CII’s prestigious ‘Environmental Best Practices Award’ 2017 for Innovative Environmental project

The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), honoured Ambuja’s mother plant in Gujarat – Ambujanagar – for Best Practices in Waste Management at the CII GreenCo Summit held in Pune on June 21, 2017.

This is yet another feather in Ambuja’s sustainability cap as this award recognised the plant’s significant contribution towards the development and use of cleaner technologies, processes and practices for environmental protection.

Received by Ambujanagar’s Environment head Dr Anand Rai and Production head K Subbulakshmanan, who had applied for the award showcasing their plant’s innovative and effective initiatives under title ‘Substitution of natural resources with alternative fuel and raw material project’
