This year, EXCON is a better event in comparison to many other previous series of this show. A lot of foot falls have improved and the event is turning out to be beneficial as the construction equipment market is going through a very good phase.
What are the driving innovations that you have come up with your new launches here and empowering your business potential?
First of all, I would like to say that-Atlas Copco empowers innovation a lot! Our products, however, get launched every year. So we have released many products by the time EXCON comes. Atlas Copco has new portable air compressors and a new LED light tower.
If you have to express one key innovation, or say a main idea, that you always introduce in your new launches, what it would be to justify as your core business strength?
ATLAS COPCO endeavors to provide solutions in terms of achieving better fuel economy and consuming lesser energy. The customers benefit by this and, in fact, the customers become the first choice while making a concept or innovation. So our ‘customer-centric approach’ is always to be First in mind – First in choice®. Our new LED HiLight V5+ light tower model are suited for many applications, be it road and bridge making or just powering a football ground, you name it and we will be there!
Tell us your next value-added step, in terms of strategy, for your future growth and expansion-say for the coming 5 years?
I will say that, growth and expansion are ever-evolving actions and steps with our company. There is an anticipated industry growth of not less than, say, 15-20 % in the coming at least four years. So from this perspective, we will continue to bring our advanced technology products and innovations to Indian customers.
