Jitesh Brahmkshatriya joins Buro Happold, India as Cities Director
Buro Happold, India has appointed Jitesh Brahmkshatriya as its new Cities Director. Jitesh will be responsible for growing the company’s cities business in India, while working closely with the Cities Global Leadership team. His role will include developing solutions to the challenges Buro Happold’s clients face as a result of increased urbanisation and climate change.
Buro Happold has offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad – its newest office globally – to support its growing Indian client base and facilitate a significant body of work. Most notably, the company worked on The World Towers in Mumbai – the tallest completed building in India and Buro Happold’s single largest commercial development to date. Current projects include Lodha Place for Lodha Group and Waters Edge in Bangalore for Equinox Reality.
Jitesh joins with over 20 years’ industry experience behind him, beginning as an urban designer with a passion for developing integrated design solutions. He has since worked on strategic projects across the globe, progressing to leadership positions at some of the world’s most highly revered consulting, advisory and infrastructure engineering firms.
He has spent the last 12 years leading diverse teams and challenging projects across four continents, focusing on strategic planning, climate change, urban resilience, integrated township, office campuses, regeneration, smart cities, liveable cities and the circular economy.
