In 1914, FURUKAWA has produced Japan's first original pneumatic rock drill. Since then we have striven in developing products and improving machine efficiency. The rock drills we produce have contributed to developing society in fields like mining, quarry, tunnel, dam construction, road construction, etc.
In 1976, we developed our first hydraulic breaker, and in the following year, our first original hydraulic crawler drill went on the market.
FURUKAWA is the only company in the world to develop both hydraulic breakers and crawler drills with its own proprietary technology.
