In a virtual event organized by the Govt of India, titled ‘Local Goes Global: Make in India for the World‘, Jindal Stainless was invited to an interaction with the PM as one of the top few exporters of India. Through its manufacturing locations in Jajpur and Hisar, the company has been exporting various grades of stainless steel products to over 60 countries across the globe. The annual exports made by the company totalled over INR 3,000 crores even in a challenging pandemic-ridden FY 20-21.
“We’re confident that we will play a significant part in meeting the export target of $400 bn mentioned by Modi ji. Our products have a worldwide repute and we’re enhancing our capacity to meet future demands. Though shortage of containers and logistics hassles have been plaguing our export potential since the onset of pandemic, we are hopeful that the government will find a solution for this,” said Whole Time Director of Jindal Stainless, Mr Tarun Khulbe, an attendee to the event.
