Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its small commercial vehicle range with the launch of the Supro Minitruck VX, a new variant of the company’s Supro minitruck platform. The VX variant offers enhanced features at a competitive price of Rs 440,000 (ex-showroom Mumbai). M&M says the VX variant is conceptualised to effectively cater to both inter-city and intra-city business needs. It is driven by Mahindra’s DI engine, which develops maximum power of 26hp and 55 Nm of torque. The Supro Minitruck VX offers a payload capacity of 900kg and a bigger cargo box. Shod with bigger 13-inch tyres and 170mm of ground clearance, the company says the Supro Minitruck VX user will be able to transport higher loads easily, lower fuel costs and achieve a faster turn-around time thereby improving total cost of ownership.
