There are numerous notable innovations done in industry which has enable better and healthier living environment. We have seen a sea change in the plumbing Industry. From Cement pipe for Underground drainage to Corrugated pipes. From PVC pipes to Polypropylene pipes for drainage. Grey water recycling to be used for flushing and other non-potable areas… From brick wall to RCC Wall and moving further to Drywall concepts. From G.I pipes to Copper, PERT/Al/PERT pipes and Stainless steel pipes for Plumbing.
Have the workers in the plumbing industry adapted to modern technology to provide better service to their customers. Your insights.
The Plumbers are the backbone of the construction Industry and they are adapting to the change and are also learning new technology and the product. There are various institutes who impart training to them to understand the new technology. Indian government has started ISDC and under the umbrella of this IPSC has been established which impart training schedules to the plumber. We have progressed to a level where there are universities who impart 4 year course B Tech in Plumbing to the student also.
We as a company also carryout training programmes on a regular basis for plumber at the site and at our Centre to ensure their skill set are in line for quality installations with lesser room for errors and wastage.
Is enough emphasis laid on educating, training the workers, plumbers about greywater systems and other environmentally efficient plumbing methods?
The government has set a new norm and has made compulsion to set up a Grey water system In India. As per the RERA which has been effective now the developer has to set up a Grey water recycling plant and the norms laid are stringent and also the result has to be shared with the local municipal body.

How does the industry looks like in 2021 and way forward? Business projections of the company! Year 2021 will have quite number of ups and down, as the situation for the COVID 19 is not clear.
Business projections of our company are healthier compared to previous year and the outlook of Industry will be definitely better than 2020, but still it is a wait and watch situation for the economy to improve considering the second wave of pandemic and rising in number of Covid cases in our country.
