SPML Infra Received New Orders of INR 642 Crore
Irrigation Project in Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh, Water Supply Scheme in Jharkhand & Power Infra Development in West Bengal
SPML Infra Limited has received new orders for Water Supply and Irrigation Projects in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand and Power Infra Development in West Bengal.
The first order of INR 500.14 Crore of Link 1, Package IV is part of the Phase II of Saurashtra-Narmada Avtaran Irrigation; an ambitious project initiated by the Govt. of Gujarat to divert one million acre feet (1 MAF) water of Narmada Dam to 115 Reservoirs through 1115 kilometer pipeline network to irrigate 1.8 million hectare of land in Saurashtra, Kutch and north Gujarat; benefiting millions of farmers. The project also envisages supplying potable water to 39 million people across 132 towns and 11,456 villages in Gujarat to address the scarcity of drinking water. The scope of this project includes laying of 36.6 kms MS Pipeline of 3000 mm diameter of 17.5 mm thickness with external 3LPE coating & internal food grade epoxy coating; 14.17 Cumecs Pumping Station at 49 meter head and allied works. The project completion period is 24 months thereafter 10 years of O&M.
The second order of INR 53.58 Crore is for augmentation and strengthening of Giridih water supply scheme under Giridih Nagar Parishad in Jharkhand with design and construction of 7.50 lakh litre elevated service reservoir, distribution network, installation of bulk flow meters, gensets, SCADA system etc. The project completion period is 24 months along with 5 years of O&M.
The third order of INR 45.64 Crore is for lift irrigation pipeline project for transmission of 50 cusecs of water from Ch. 13900 on existing MS pipeline in Bhasariya, district Mehasana, Gujarat to augment various reservoirs of the region by pipeline or feeder canals. The project completion period is 12 months.
The fourth order of INR 28.80 Crore is for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 132/33 Kv GIS Substation along with 2 nos 132 Kv line bays and associated work at Burdwan in West Bengal. The project will be completed in 18 months’ time.
The fifth order of INR 13.50 Crore is for construction of Right Bank Piped Canal of Existing Upper Beda Dam on turnkey basis to supply 0.735 Cumec water for irrigation in 1829 hectare cultivable command area, construction of multiple outlets for domestic raw water requirements and all other miscellaneous work related to entire system. The project completion period is 24 months along with 12 months of O&M.
