Strategizing new launches by engaging consumers
Mahindra & Mahindra brings new products with the consultation of the needs of the customers, taking their in-puts and keeping them and their productivity in mind.
What would you like to share about your presence and participation here at EXCON 2017?
I think we are having a fantastic participation here at EXCON 2017. The other good part is that the range for the customers to have an engaging participation has increased in the country.
What are the prime innovations behind your new launches this time and share with us your business plans for the near future, say couple of years to five years strategy?
Our strategy is to offer products which cater the Indian consumer wants. So all our products are made in India and made for India. Also, all the products that we are making are designed with the consultation of our customers and keeping them and their productivity needs in mind. So we bring up products with our customers’ in-puts rather than revealing new product options and asking them to pick and choose. This approach is working very well for us as we are highly appreciated for our products here at EXCON and getting an impact in the show. We have come up with innovative and efficient product launches like- our two new variants- ‘Mahindra EarthMaster SX90 and Mahindra EarthMaster DrillX’. These launches cater to the top end of the market with their efficient features and their highly competitive price. So we are able to cater the large range of buyers in the market with our quality launches.
Share your views on the Government policies and implementation trends and detail briefly on the graph of the Indian infrastructure market. Also, tell us what are your future development plans in India?
I think we are very lucky to be in the infrastructure segment as the Government itself is forming and implementing the development policies in India. The best part is that, even in the times of demonetization, the market never went down. This year, the market is growing to a healthy pace of 15-20 % as the projects are already flowing. So this development trend is going upward for the next 3-5 years and we could see a momentum in the market.
