At EXCON this year, we had fantastic footfalls and an equally good number of queries. Our stall was one of the biggest ever put up by us at any show and it was much appreciated by all visitors. We had a stunning display of mobile cranes and crushing & screening equipment. We had several product launches and quite a few ceremonial keys were handed over to customers of our products. Given the phenomenal response that we received at the show, we are hopeful of generating good business opportunities out the queries we got at the expo.
Amalgamate your views on your new launches to the business potential you are strategizing currently.
TIL showcased its material handling and road building solutions at EXCON 2017. We have launched the Mobiload™ 315, the latest from TIL in the 15 Ton pick-n-carry crane segment, with a view to offering customers a next generation crane that embodies safety, easy operability, easy maintenance, application suitability and competitive total cost of ownership. Another product on the launch pad was the Hyster-TIL® ReachStacker for everyday container handling applications. It aims to meet the demands of the ports and other tough container handling applications in growing markets. We also launched the RT 750, the latest addition to the comprehensive range of rough terrain cranes from TIL. The response to our new launches has been tremendous and, in fact, going beyond our expectations.
Our new product launches are all in sync with the very good growth prospects that the New Year presents for the near term. Revival of road construction in India – with big ticket projects like the Bharat Mala – will improve demand for our road building equipment – such as crushing & screening plants and hot mix asphalt plants. Our material handling equipment – mobile cranes and reach stackers – will find new avenues in the Sagar Mala project, railways expansion, metro projects, solar power, and irrigation projects. Additional impetus should come from mining, Smart City initiative, urban infrastructure renewal, etc.

Apart from the domestic market, we are now focusing on our export potential. We already export our products to the Middle-East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and plan to further broaden our export reach to other markets.
