CASE Construction Equipment is a brand of CNH Industrial N.V., a global leader in the capital goods sector that, through its various businesses, designs, produces and sells agricultural and construction equipment, trucks, commercial vehicles, buses and specialty vehicles. CASE Construction is present in India since 1989, earlier as a technology provider, then as a joint venture partner of an Indian company, and finally as a wholly owned subsidiary of CNH Industrial. CASE India has consistently remained a market leader in the Vibratory Compactor segment and the only company to have sold over 11,000 units in India. With more than 25,000 Loader Backhoes and 300 Motor Graders sold in the country, CASE India is a Top Tier player in these product segments. CASE’s R & D team constantly endeavors to develop clever innovations to make equipment more fuel efficient for reducing emissions on the environment.
The company has introduced Eagle Eye Telematic System, a real time vehicle tracking and communication based on GPS technology that helps deliver better value for money.
2) Share with us your opinion on the industry using visionary concepts to create higher growth capacity.
From the beginning of the current year, the infrastructure sector has been on a high, buoyed by government increasing its projected expenditure by 21 per cent to INR 5,971.43 billion. The general intent, as is evident from the number of reforms and policies, has been to provide large-scale impact to a sector facing challenges by hindrances in completion of projects. Visionary initiatives — including the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Smart Cities, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Bharatmala Pariyojana, Sagarmala Programme, airport development, state and rural road development and maintenance, railway and metro rail development — are aimed at combating the infra-deficit image of the country.
The policy and administrative decisions of the current government to speed up the pace of infrastructure development have showed positive results and sales increased. We aspire to grow faster than the industry. We have achieved the goal for past so many years and expect to continue being on top in future too.

3) How would you comment on the current market scenario with regards to your products & its demand in the industry?
The estimated market scenario of construction equipment in the first half of 2018 Increased by 33% from 2017 to 2018. The surge in demand in the first half of 2018 resulted from increased activity in the construction and mining sectors. The growth trend may moderate as the country approaches general elections scheduled in mid-2019. Despite all these factors, demand for construction equipment is projected to witness a robust growth of 15 per cent in overall fiscal 2018. We have some projects lined up on which discussions are under progress. We will be announcing it at the right time
4) How would you want to be positioned in the minds of your audience, In terms of your core business strengths and values?

We constantly modify our products according to the trending technology to keep up with the market trends, for operators’ comfort and providing value to our customers. The company focuses on continuous product development along with use of quality engines and regular maintenance to improve the equipment’s performance and increase fuel-efficiency and durability. The company also has a centralized call center with a toll free number where the customer can log in a complaint to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. The company has introduced Customer-Driven Product Definition (CDPD) process wherein they invite equipment users to participate in defining and improving new products. This further helps to understand the customer needs in order to develop and test new models basis customer specifications.
