Founded in 1986, Siddha Group has conceived, designed and built residential & commercial units and townships at prime locations in various cities in India. The group is a high-class real estate developer and marketer, with full-fledged offices and facilities in Kolkata, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Super headed by Chandra Prakash Jain, Group Chairman; Sanjay Jain, Managing Director, the company’s primary goal is to create world-class spaces with high-design material and construction excellence within committed timelines at competitive prices.
Siddha Group has 12 ongoing projects of more than 10,000 units and 7 upcoming projects of more than 18,000 units. The company has introduced the concept of Rooftop skywalks in their project Siddha Galaxia in Kolkata which is the world’s longest rooftop skywalk. Soon one will experience this unique feature in their mixed used development project named Siddha Sky in Wadala, Mumbai.

They provide aluminum formwork for monolithic RCC construction which reduces the construction cycle and banding the wooden planks and bamboo to save the trees and green. Siddha Group also offers screen type safety net to maintain the international standard of safety. We are also preceding the top-down structure concept to reduce the time frame and use modern construction equipment like Excavator, Break-Hoe-Loader, Tower crane, Boom placer, material lifting hoists, our set up of concrete batching plant (in house) etc. during construction. Ever since the inception of government policy like RERA, we see that developers have started delivering their projects on time. The realty sector has also witnessed a rise in the number of launches during the H1 2019 as per the recent Knight Frank report (January to June 2019). Adding on, it has also helped in enabling transparency in the sector.
What is your business plan for the future and which core principals you follow to execute the best business practices?
The Company will deliver all its planned 5 Skywalks, out of which 4 are in Kolkata and 1 in Mumbai. No such skywalk has ever been made in any residential project.
We will deliver 2000 flats per year, with more than 10000 families added. Apart from the current operation of Kolkata, Jaipur and Mumbai, we have plans to enter into any of the places in the Southern India; under consideration are the cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. That apart, the company plans to have its offices at Dubai and London.

What are your views on the budget announced for the industry and give us a few details on the related financial ambitions as a key player?
The Union budget announced with the aim of nation’s growth will bring in a quick boost to the real estate sector as the government has decided to continue its focus in making housing more affordable for large population along with the promotion of affordable housing. The government’s imperative step on additional income tax deduction of Rupees 1.5 Lakh on interest paid on home loans benefits the home buyers will bring in the fence sitters back to the market. Additionally, the proposed tenancy law will help the tenants, as well as the landowners, that will enable streamlining of the Indian rental market. Further, the move taken to enhance the infrastructure and connectivity will not only favor the realty sector but also help other industries and create employment opportunities.
