VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6476 units in August 2023 as compared to 5003 units in August 2022 recording a growth of 29.40%. This includes 6239 units of Eicher brand and 237 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for August 2023:
- Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6239 units in August 2023 as compared to 4893 units in August 2022 representing a growth of 27.50%.
- In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5907 units in August 2023 as compared to 4530 units in August 2022, representing a growth of 30.40%.
- On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 332 units in August 2023 as compared to 363 units in August 2022, representing a decline of -8.50%
- Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 237 units in August 2023 as compared to 110 units in August 2022, representing a growth of 115.5%.
