How are you finding the exclusive show of Bauma Conexpo India 2018 this time, which is organized in India? Summarize your experience and expectations from this event.

The fair of Bauma is an important affair for us, especially this time, this event has come at a very opportunity holding time when the year 2018 has turned out to be one of the best ever  year for the construction equipment industry of India(with unprecedented units being sold across product line). The sales and progress done with the rate of per client and customer has been very good in the 2018 year. So the mood and enthusiasm of the market is really good to witness. We have, obviously, invested a lot to participate in this mega show to showcase our presence with a range of new products and new innovations. We have also brought new technologies in our existence lineage of products. So we have a good wide array of products, which we have launched here at this show. So we are really excited about showcasing our new technologies in our new launches this time.

When it comes to technology, do you think it is important to innovate to satisfy the customer or to innovate and set a trend in the market, which could become popular and create both profit and brand name?

I feel it works both ways! So it’s very difficult to make one way out and leave the other view. As a result, we can say it is difficult to say that one notion verses the other. However, we all know that, at the end of the day, the customer is the king! We need to put a lot more focus on satisfying the customer demand. But, somewhere around the line, many a times it happens that the customer does not know exactly what he needs or he is unaware of the latest trends and technologies, which could benefit him in many aspects of his purchase. We can say that the customer does have needs, which he could not articulate, mainly in terms in which he could complete them. So while we work with many of product improvements, we focus on satisfying the demands of our customer, which are there and needs the updated products and services. We also work on innovation and technology, which either the customer would need in the future or it could something which the customer needs today but he is not really aware of his actual requirements.

Can you just give us a sneak peek into the year opening and predictions for 2019, although 2018 will officially end with financial year ending in time around April 2019?

The first thing here is that we follow calendar year and so for us, the year 2018 is just about to end with December 2018. We have found that the year 2018 has been excellent for us. In fact, as I have mentioned earlier, 2018 has been the best ever year for the CE sector. As for 2019, we believe and expect that the industry would remain flat and fluctuations will be there in the industry, due to the impact of elections. The prime reason for this is that, we will lose a few months to get new norms and policies to follow. Therefore, the demand in the market could get affected in these few months and, so, the remaining months would need to adjust and combat this fluctuations period.
