AI as a Catalyst for Modern Infrastructure in India

By Mr. Sidharth Pansari, Director, Primarc Group

With the launch of the ‘Vision 2047 – Vikshit Bharat’ initiative in India, AI technology is poised to revolutionize the construction and infrastructure sectors. At Primarc Group, we recognize the transformative potential of AI in streamlining large-scale projects, from enhancing operational efficiency to ensuring sustainable urban development.

With the launch of the ‘Vision 2047 – Vikshit Bharat’ initiative in India, AI technology stands to redefine construction and infrastructure domains altogether. While currently at its nascent stage in the industry, AI at Primarc Group truly envisions a core role in defining large-scale projects of the future.

In such a case, AI could become an invaluable asset in streamlining the planning and execution process. In the application of AI-driven tools in machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and automated project management software, among other tools, the industry will see efficacy in operations, shorter completion times, and better management of costs. The other area where AI could assist is with advanced data analytics, since it is critical in properly forecasting, managing risks, and optimizing resources for projects with scale and complexity.

Further, technology that will automate site operations, such as AI drones, robotics, and smart sensors, may do surveying, progress control on construction, and safety enforcement. These will bring much more accuracy into execution practices and speedy work performance, minimizing the cases of human error and keeping places safe to work in.

These AI applications are not very adopted widely so far, but Primarc Group is devoted to the exploration of these technologies for their possible use in our upcoming projects. We, therefore, aim to make AI mainstream in all our operations by 2047, which will contribute to smarter and sustainable urban spaces. Innovate toward making India capable of resilient infrastructure and smart cities in realization of the aspiration for India to have accelerated progress leading the world in construction technology.
