Brigade Group’s first IT office building in Technopark

Brigade Group has leased approximately 1.62 lakh sq. ft. across 11 floors of Brigade Square, Technopark Phase 1, to HealthEdge, marking a significant milestone for its first IT office building in Thiruvananthapuram. Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited, said the future-ready workspace reflects the city’s growing appeal among global technology companies. The development also supports Brigade Group’s larger plans for a 2 million sq. ft. World Trade Center, further strengthening Thiruvananthapuram’s technology and commercial ecosystem.

Brigade Group has signed up a lease agreement with HealthEdge, a U.S. headquartered healthcare technology company backed by Bain Capital, for a super built-up area of approximately 1.62 lakh sq. ft. across 11 floors of Brigade’s first IT Office building, Brigade Square in Thiruvananthapuram. HealthEdge provides AI-powered software and technology-enabled services that help health plans modernize healthcare administration. With an integrated platform spanning claims administration, payment accuracy, provider network management, care management, and risk adjustment, HealthEdge enables health plans to harness automation and AI to deliver frictionless, cost-effective healthcare experiences.

Located in Technopark – Phase1, Brigade Square is a 2 lakh sq. ft. IT office building designed to support the evolving requirements of technology-driven businesses. This marks an important milestone in Brigade Group’s expansion in Thiruvananthapuram and reinforces the city’s growing appeal as a destination for global technology and healthcare companies.

HealthEdge’s new campus brings together teams across Engineering, Product Development, Technology, Operations and Corporate Functions. The campus includes an executive floor with a boardroom, meeting rooms and executive dining, along with a dedicated cafeteria, training rooms, collaborative workspaces, wellness rooms and a mothers’ room.

Brigade Group has significant expansion plans for Thiruvananthapuram. The Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Kerala to develop a 2 million sq. ft. World Trade Center within Technopark- Phase 1. Brigade Square will form part of this larger development, further strengthening the Group’s presence in the city and its contribution to the growth of Thiruvananthapuram’s commercial and technology ecosystem. The proposed World Trade Center is expected to further enhance the city’s ability to attract multinational companies, technology businesses and other knowledge-driven enterprises, while creating a platform for global businesses to establish and expand their operations in Kerala.
