Greaves has unveiled two transformative product categories in the construction equipment industry: aerial work platforms with electric-powered, eco-friendly technology and robust mini excavators. These innovations cater to the growing demands of urban infrastructure while aligning with a focus on sustainability.
Under aerial work platforms, Greaves introduced the Scissor Lift and Boom Lift, both fully electric-powered and available with lithium-ion and lead-acid battery options. The Scissor Lift, ideal for indoor maintenance in high-rise buildings, offers platform heights ranging from 6 to 14 meters. It is indispensable for tasks like cleaning and maintenance, ensuring smoke-free and quiet operations. The Boom Lift, designed for outdoor applications such as metro and bridge construction, supports a range of 8 to 14 meters and boasts enhanced maneuverability. These electric platforms address customer needs for low operational costs and reduced environmental impact, presenting a long-term economic choice despite slightly higher upfront costs.
In the mini excavator segment, Greaves launched four variants (2-ton to 4-ton), equipped with advanced Kubota engines and air-conditioned cabin, setting a benchmark in comfort and usability. The segment, experiencing an annual growth rate of 20-25%, is gaining traction due to its suitability for rough terrains.
In addition to these, Greaves has introduced two high-value attachment ranges, including the Rock Breaker, sourced from Italy’s Hammer Group, and internal vibrators from Spain, enhancing operational versatility.
